This does not establish a relationship strong enough to justify a... It's not a crime if the act committed was moral. Laws are simply an expression of that which society is willing to deem acceptable (though sometime that willingness is coerced by the threat of force). Then explain why the basis of OS X is clearly *not* a BSD. The kernel is a mach derivative, not a BSD derivative. Or are you going to argue that the kernel is not the base of an operating system? I guess you might consider a compiler more basic, but gcc is more a GNU tool than a BSD tool...
