Comcast has done things in legitimate cases, I've seen plenty of it in the user forums. Obviously, they don't feel I've gone against their EULA to the point where they feel justified... Do they have a non-restrictive format then? I mean apart from mp3, wav, aiff and whatever else iPods have? I think they use microsoft's restrictive format don't they? I don't like the idea of anyone having a near monopoly, but with compebreastion like this, it's not surprising. It's just a bit galling to hear words like choice, freedom and self-expression coming from a dull grey corporation. I don't like apple using those sort of words, but this is even worse, these are the RIAA butt-lickers who will take our computers off us via Trusted Computing and its progeny over the coming years, apple included. ALL mp3 players will play mp3s, and some kind of open lossless format. These f***ers are trying to make people think they need a format from THEM (apple or someotherf***er) to listen to music! Don't take any notice, buy whatever you want and get unrestricted files, if the greedy RIAA f***ers won't sell them to you, get them elsewhere. Andy
