There is absolutely no accountability but there are a hundred and one excuses. If a new user has a problem with say Ubuntu, there are a 100 other versions of Linux sitting in the wings to be used as an excuse by the Linux pundits. The entire Linux movement seems to be built upon excuses and whining. You know when I bring my BMW in for service, the last thing I want to hear from the mechanic is that I should have purchased an Audi instead. Yet that same method pbuttes for Linux advocacy every single day. It's like some mbuttive bait and switch operation!

I simply do not have the time to pick and choose my hardware, and settle for second rate hardware at that, just to use Linux. Sure Linux supports the Soundblaster. That's nice...
