Should I go Mac or PC. Neither!! 2799

No, it's not. As if now, it does take a little work, but it's not a nightmare in the least. And there are even distros which are designed to use it.

Why?

Answer: legality. In any case, it's generally only DVD decryption which is missing from most distros, and occasionally mp3 codecs. I don't know of any distro that includes k3b that can't burn Cds, etc, and most of the ones I've used had mp3 as standard. You seem to be misinformed.

Even when it isn't inclued inthe initial install, it's just a few clicks away by download. I've just finished watching a DVD with Kaffeine, so it seems to be perfectly possible. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

So you say. But you don't provide any actual reasons for your conclusion.

I've *got* it working. I've got two PCs and two laptops with it working just nicely, thanks. So, what are you on about?

You seem obsessed with money.

Really? Like to provide any examples of that? I'm talking about normal apps that ordinary users want, not obscure or specialist stuff.

Fine and dandy. So what?

Your conclusion is erroneous.
