Hi, Well for that particular problem he doesn't have to remove a suite he purchased, he can...

You would end up creating new Safari windows instead of switching to Safari. No, I think that part works correctly - i.e. it switches to the space where safari is.

I wonder if tab-switching works the same way.

Easy - the toolbars are floating palettes. and regardless of which window you have open, the toolbars will be there.

Spaces doesn't add a new layer of window handling, I'm sure. Try the above out with Desktop Manager for instance. Works like a charm. The toolbars "follows" the the next space, which isn't what is happening in reality. What's happening is that window 1 is hidden and window 2 is shown, and the toolbars just stay the same.

OK, so suppose I've got Safari windows in spaces 1 and 2, and I'm in space 3. I click on Safari in the dock. Which Safari window do...

For that matter, are the spaces "live"? I.e. will a quicktime movie in space 2 show continue to play in space-exposZ mode? Or are the "thumbnails" only saved screenshots of how that space looked - sans the menu bar and the dock?

It isn't a list by year, Edwin. It's a ranking of which is the greatest. Number 1 overall...

Exactly. I only use it on my Powerbook and only occasionally. And I only split up applications, not projects. I.e. I have a "Safari" space and a "BBEdit" space.

I really can't imagine it working any other way. I mean, it would be incredibly stupid to try to switch only the monitor that the mouse is on, for instance.

Plus, spaces would be pretty useless for me with four monitors:

It'll be fun to see how Spaces will visualize them in that exposZ-mode
