When spotlight first came out, there were many gripes with thew feature from my end. The Mac-Jihad rebuttured me: "They will get things fixed" or "it's too new and all the wrinkles haven't been ironed out yet.", etc., etc.

So here we are, many moons after its announcement and integration into OS X and still, one cannot:

Move to trash from within Spotlight. What a major fscking PITA. You have to reveal in Finder, most of the time you need to scroll to the item because the crappy Finder doesn't highlight the item within the visible portion of the window.

Cannot disable it or suspend it or even schedule when you want it to do its indexing. I spend a few hours waiting for it to index before I could use my computer, it was too fscking slow.

I mean seriously, this is crap, plain and simple.

I'm sure Sandman will respond with some BS about how it not really a feature that most users really "need" or Polarski will admonish me for being a malcontent, etc., etc.
