You're talking about Richard C. Hoagland. That's the guy many of us like to call Richard C. Hoaxland or Hoagie. He's full of it. Not everyone who listens to the show believes what this crackpot says.
Coast to Coast deals with the paranormal. That means you get crackpots. However it also deals with stuff like new technology and hacking. Mitnick has been a guest on the show before. I can think of a lot of Mac Kooks who believed in outlandish things about Macs that bordered on the paranormal. "Macs just work." "Macs are easier to set up than PCs." My personal favorite, "Mac's are engineered, not put together out of a pile of OEM parts like white box PCs." Oh and one of the most stupid, "Mac hardware is just plain better than PC hardware." Those myths have been dispelled. However you still have some crackpots who think they aren't myths lurking in this newsgroup.
Frankly I'm surprised you would even mention that you listen to it. If it's so bad, why listen?
