If you really want to hold to the view that 'synonymous' in the first part is defined by 'equate' in the second part then you are drawing no distinction between the subjects that you are comparing, showing that you and only you see no difference between comparing incest to love or love to incest, that fits nicely with your stated view that the order when discussing incest-love makes no difference! but is contrary to every other view that incest and love are not the same!
If you wanted both parts to compliment each other then you should have exchanged "incest" and "love" in the first part! you didn't so they don't!
It should have read... love, for most people, is not synonymous with incest... The fact that *you* equate love with incest is not my problem.
