Switching Back 1020Was my trolling not sufficiently obvious before? Actually I am quite proud of this thread. I never, ever through I could spawn so much activity by harshing on Toshiba here. Usually I dump on *Apple*. But Toshiba? Who knew? snip I'll post about that in a separate thread before too long; if I keep my anti-Windows trolling in the same thread as my anti-Mac trolling, I'll get all confused. Now, Grey, you know that this is not so. snip Switching Back 1022 On Aug 15, 2006, Steven de Mena Interesting. My new off-brand Bluetooth mouse works out of the box with my G4 PowerBook. I would think that it would have worked with Intel Macs as... Yes, I would miss them if I.. misplaced them. :D The idea is to store them in the fingerprint unit, which won't give them up without a matching print. More private that storing such things in disk files, I should think. Switching Back 1021 That is so depressing. One of the most obnoxious things about your basic store-bought PC is all the demoware. At the least I hope... No, I've got it working well now. Basically, update the drivers and uninstall the junkware, and Bob's yer uncle. But the Protector Suite software that drives the fingerprint reader insists on interfering with IE; even when the annoying notices are off, it still makes IE pause randomly. And I can find no way to use it just for logging in. You guys will enjoy it more. :D snip
