That is so depressing.
One of the most obnoxious things about your basic store-bought PC is all the demoware.
On Aug 15, 2006, Steven de Mena Interesting. My new off-brand Bluetooth mouse works out of the box with my G4 PowerBook...
At the least I hope Apple can keep all that crap off the desktop. MS tried to do this, but they got sued and lost. Bummer.
This Toshiba's desktop was about 1-3 full of icons as shipped.

It appeals to my geeky side, which is about 92% of me (the other side is really... thin).

Tried to. Toshibas updater software says I'm up to date, but Intel has a more recent driver (and it is stable- no more blue screens so far.).
Toshiba.com doesn't seem to have anything relevant. The site the "TOSHIBA buttist" applet links to also has nothing that I could find.
But of course, had this been a Mac, there would be a single place to go- apple.com.
