Most of the above, mind you, isn't demoware. It's real software which Apple includes because it's useful, not because they're being paid by third-parties to promote it1. There are only three demoware programs, they're not stuck on the desktop (or in the Dock), and they can be removed by simply dragging them to the trash. Plus, Macs come with real OS install discs and OS X installs in ten minutes or something on modern hardware, so if you want a totally clean start it's not a huge burden. You don't have to go buy a retail copy of the OS and then spend a bunch of time tracking down drivers. 1 Apple doesn't even do pay-for-placement in the iTunes Music Store, which is basically unheard of.
