Hey, whatever it takes to keep a boring thread going!

Doc, you know you really seem to be a reasonable guy. We've corresponded off-list and I believe you when you say your experience with Apple hardware, software and support was substandard and left a bad taste in your mouth. However it really doesn't help your credibility when you resort to the same "Everything Apple Does Sucks" line that certain other cling to like Linus and his blanket.

The very reason Apple has been able to survive is not just because of the subjective preference of people who like the OS. Look at the big picture. You got a lemon and you weren't properly supported in the process. You KNOW what I really think because I've told you. Looking just at the products and their historical performance overall, Apple makes at the VERY LEAST an ABOVE AVERAGE product.

Try to keep an open mind.
