understand what they see in a system with such limited support. I mean, the whole idea of a computer platform is to run apps on it. If one needs to do professional-level work, Linux can't do it because the apps aren't there. So, I don't get it and I don't put a lot of effort into trying to get it. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Well, here's the thing about it. If you don't like Macs-OSX, then you probably shouldn't be posting here, but rather in a Windows news group. The Mac users who post here have pretty much rejected Windows for a number of reasons, and really don't care why others have embraced and like it. I certainly don't care. It doesn't bother me that you don't like Macs and OSX, that's up to you. But when you offer long-winded justification for prefering Windows, it pretty much falls on deaf ears. It's like going on a 'I hate broccoli' group and offering them broccoli recipes. They aren't interested. Neither are we Mac users interested in why you don't like the Mac and do like Windows. Its irrelevant. Stay here and post if you like, but I really don't see the point.
