I do have to agree that a PowerMac G4 is a "Mac", Josh. Of course...

Sandman nailed this point. Macintosh is a brand name. The technology used underneath is irrelevant. The PC may be or may not be defined entirely by the processor. That is largely unclear since the term "PC" is arbitrary. The Mac is a brand of computer, not a processor type.

Just as valid a definition as anything you have provided.
