CSMA Trolling Summaries: May 2006 Edition 2750
On 8-5-06 10:05 AM, in article No problem as long as its a nickel well spent! So just to be clear it is my use of English...

Yes - why not?

I was trying my hand at a "balanced" troll.

I really believe that the move to Intel was a positive direction. However, allowing Windows to run on their hardware, in my opinion, will hurt them in the not so long run. All of the "supposed" drawbacks to running an OS that is subject to viruses, etc. are in reality, minimal. In my fifteen years of web browsing, I have been subjected to attempted browser hi-jacks, twice. Since I always run very big CPU's, the av programs don't seem to slow anything down. In fact, when I monitor CPU usage while av is actively scanning, it uses only about 2%-3% of resource. My reasons for not using a mac, they are more costly for the same thing. Why buy a machine like that, when it will be obsolete in about a year and a half. Look at the old gen G5's - obsolete. The old gen mac laptops-ditto.
