United 93 Brought Down by Gun Control Laws 1557Ray Fischer Yep, and you carefully snipped where I defined clearly your misquote based on his statement. I'll restate it again. And naively I'll buttume you won't again snip my explanation and make a liar out of yourself twice in a row. I shall capitalize the words that apply. United 93 Brought Down by Gun Control Laws 1559 Ray Fischer I can do that. I cannot do it legally from a dealer. And YOU, Ray, as... He said: "And YOU WERE SHOWN that where weapons are more readily available to law abiding citizens, crime is lower." You said: "YOU SHOWED nothing of the sort. He did NOT say the he showed anything, only that you were shown. Hence, Ray the Liar, you misquoted him with "YOU showed." Why did you snip my explanation from my prior post, Ray? Nope. If it's the same topic, it's not a Red Herring. Of course they do, and also with protection against violence. United 93 Brought Down by Gun Control Laws 1558 Scout It's always amusing to watch Ray lie. And the absolutely stupid way he does so. Hoping that all will be too lazy to look, he snips the relevant portions of the other's... Your claim is empty as your little pumpkin head. The laws referred to had to do with availability of guns. Hence you are wrong. Less available, the ratio of gun possession goes UP for criminals vs gun possession by non-criminals. The former won't obey the laws, the latter will. Not pretending to anything, and I am not claiming there is a "minor" difference in laws. Being able to carry concealed is a *major* difference from not being able to. Thus I prefer to live in "shall issue" states, rather than areas with "may issue" like California, and completely prohibitive areas like DC. And the borders do make a difference, Ray. Gun rich places right next door to gun prohibition states enjoy lower violent crime rates than the areas adjacent. -- "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
