It's not like the core underpinnings of OSX changed since 10.0 (though 10.3 was a larger change than the others (speaking from the perspective of a Mac programmer looking at the changed APIs with each 0.1 update). Sorry, the 0.1 OSX upgrades are NOT "major" upgrades (as someone foolishly claimed in this thread), not even close. Mac OS 7.1 was a "major" upgrade. Mac OS X 10.0 was a "major" upgrade. Those are the only two "major" upgrades Mac OS has seen in 17 years. (OS8 was a joke (purely cosmetic + Appearance Manager and some other very minor crap; OS9 was a larger upgrade, but not "major"). But you'll keep paying $130 for each and every one of Apple's 0.1 upgrades, be they minor or major. I got off that train and now update only every other 0.1 upgrade, if that.
