Nor am I attempting to prove anyone's superiority. I am only trying to show that Vista IS available to the General Public NOW. IN addition, Microsoft betas, since Beta 2 of XP, are notoriously feature-complete, and with few bugs (relatively, of course, since all software products, whether they are betas or RTMs, will contain bugs, and Microsoft is certainly no exception to the rule (which also includes Apple betas and even RTMs.) While Leopard betas may or may not have been seeded to the developer community, my brother has not yet received his seed. But he's been out of town for the last week or so, and I cannot access his site anyway. He is VERY private and careful not to break his agreements with Apple. And I honor his wishes religiously. You know, I really don't care about "release schedules". All I know is that I ran the Vista Upgrade Advisor this morning, and apparently, my iMac is fully-compatible with the Ultimate edition of Vista. In addition, I know that I will be able to get the Beta as soon as Microsoft sends me the download information. VISTA is nice! 1617 Close -- Vista Public Preview is available. Since it isn't complete and isn't finished in important ways (according... Now, if someone (hopefully, Apple), would fix BootCamp so that I will be able to install it on my Intel iMac, since I no longer have a Wintel which is able to run Vista at all. Anyway, forgive me for crowing. I am kind of excited this morning. I just downloaded the Office 2007 beta, and am anxious to install it in my XP folder on the iMac. ==
