By using the Vista Hardware compatibility check application, publically on Microsoft's web site.

But I will be left with my iMac, as well as Vista, hopefully. What will you be left with? Your iMac (if you have one), as well as OS X (maybe even Leopard).
So WHAT the FREAKING Bloody HELL. Who cares, anyway?
IF it floats your boat to use OS X on YOUR iMac, what is that to me? And if it floats mine to choose to run Vista on MY iMac, what is that to you? It's really NEITHER of our business what OS we run on our iMacs.

Why not at the same time? Why shold someone come first? What do betas or previews have to do with...
As long as we got the machine from the same place, we should have a common ground.

I am getting SO SICK to rest with the "I love OS X-I don't" subject here on CSMA. Lets talk about something else, ok?
If we were talking about things which MATTER in the long-run, I could understand bitter recriminations on BOTH sides. But this doesn't matter, when push comes to shove.
Only major versions of Windows have a chargte. WinFS will be released in a Service Pack, which are ALWAYS free to Windows licensees. Microsoft seems to be making a HUGE amount of money doing it...
One thing, however, which DOES matter in the long-run, is CHOICE. And, in my opinion, Mac users such as the "regulars" in this group are BOUND AND DETERMINED to REMOVE "choice" as a necessary thing in life (at least as far as computers and software are concerned) and a valid subject of conversation in this PUBLIC forum.
As LONG as I am a FREE MAN, born under God, and a Citizen of the United States, I will PREFER CHOICE, since CHOICE is totally necessary to retain our FREEDOM. Lose choices, and we are nothing but SLAVES.
Do YOU want to remain a SLAVE? Hopefully, you don't.
