What does this say about users 2642Edwin *laughing* Actually, I probably know more about Windows than most of the posters here. I supported every version of Windows from 3 through W2000 for a large community college. I also was a network admin (for 10 years) managing network servers running Novell and NT. I've used (and managed) the following operating systems: OS-370, MVS, Solaris, Linux, Windows 3.x, Windows 9.x, NT, W2000, ME, XP, BTOS, (and earlier on MS DOS and CP-M). Done development work (mostly utilities, but applications as well) on most of the platforms listed. My Netware clients were 95% Windows-based. I've taught clbuttes in using Windows, WordPerfect, Word, Excel, Pagemaker, Access (all using the Windows platform) - as well as a number of PC-based and mainframe-based programming languages. What does this say about users 2643 Nothing in my original post (other than my self-identification as an IT Professional) really suggests anything one way or the other about my background... I currently do SW development and support for clients based on...you guessed it, XP. The word "faux" usually means "false" - are you saying that I am a fake convert? Or are you simply trying to sound literate? Ken
