What does this say about users 2643

Nothing in my original post (other than my self-identification as an IT Professional) really suggests anything one way or the other about my background.

Other than the fact that I implied a preference for OSX, I don't really see how you come that conclusion. As pointed out in a post above (not mine), the lingua franca of CS is Unix anyway. In fact, the Mac first care less about running Windows at home.

I really don't see how you can call anything here "phony." You might very well disagree with my opinions, but I don't see that I have given you (or anyone else) any reason to doubt that I believe what I am saying. Please explain: are you claiming that I am really an XP partisan disguised as an Apple fan? Because that is the meaning of what you wrote.

So, Ewdwin - since you appear to think you can read my mind: how exactly am I phony. Why would a 52 year old systems analyst waste his time in discussion with you and Muah only to put forth ideas in which he doesn't believe. If you doubt my credentials - well, surely you are intellegent enough to figure out where I word given my email address. Perhaps you are also intellegent enough to locate my school's website and look me up in the faculty-staff directory.

Or - perhaps you are more interested in simply engaging in groundless personal attacks. Fact checks only get in the way.
