You really ought to have read the site. You wouldn't have embarrbutted yourself like that. This PC is a small form factor PC with specialized audio and video cards, and specialized software, installed. It's nothing like a game console.
This package will also edit recorded video. Final Cut Pro will do live mixing.

You went from saying Apple doesn't do these type of things to asking if a MacBook Pro can't do them just a compactly.
A MacBook Pro doesn't contain all the neccessary hardware that's installed inside the TriCaster, so no, the MacBook Pro is nowhere near as complete a solution, as you'd have a pile of seperate equipment to use along with it.
