Taking you at your word, there are some things TriCaster does that FCP doesn't...but there are lots of things both products do, which is enough to show Apple is in the same market, the denials of Maccies notwithstanding.

Having features in common means your buttertion the TriCaster is "Nothing like Final Cut Pro" is false.

They both have areas of overlapping functions. They need not be identical in every respect to find common areas of use.

You may now list the professional audio and video cards that can be installed within a game console. Then list the professional video and audio production software any game console runs.

"Final Cut Pro is built for speed with RT Extreme, the amazing real-time multistream effects architecture. Dynamic RT adjusts image quality and frame rate on the fly for optimal playback. Choose your format: Final Cut Pro supports real-time effects processing on everything from DV to fully uncompressed HD. Powerful multicam editing tools let you view and cut video from multiple sources-whether DV, SD, or HD-in real time. Group up to 128 sources together into multi-clips, then add or subtract cameras at any time for maximum flexibility."

LOL! Riiiiight, sure you do... in your dreams...

So you ignore all the the things that the TriCaster can do, that a PowerBook Pro can't, so you can offer the PB Pro up as being just as compact? I know your laboring under the double challenge of being both a Canuck and a Maccie, but isn't there a limit to even your stupidity?

A test for you. You already failed it, above, when you claimed a PowerBook Pro already had everything it needed.

Take it again, and amaze everybody by pbutting it, if you can.

So you have learned that some functions are useful at more than one end of the video production effort -- shouldn't that...

You didn't get past the first sentence, something you falsely accused me of, but are guilty of yourself.
