Nope. There are lots of things my computer does that an alarm clock does, or that a paper calendar does, but that does put them in the same market. So a sports car and a open pit mining dump truck can't be said to be nothing alike as far as what their intended use goes? They both have wheels... But they are intended for different purposes. The TriCaster is for *live* mixing of video, Final Cut for editing of video after its been recorded and digitized. "Real-time" is not the same thing as "live".
Well, to be precise, I know so much more about it than you as to be almost congruent with knowing everything about it. LOL They're different tools for different jobs. But what the TriCaster does that a Final Cut system can do, it does weighing and costing more. So you admit you don't know. You'd have to know more about video editing to understand the difference, but it's HUGE... LOL
