Why use Linux? Its nowhere near as good as a Mac. In fact Linux is downright prehistoric by comparison. And aren't you being a bit hypocritical? You just used the old argument that there is FAR more software available for Windows than there is for Mac, yet several lines further on, you recommend that one use Linux rather than Mac if one doesn't like Windows, and there is so little software available for Linux, compared to either Windows OR the Mac, that its ludicrous.

You act as if Mac users do have to "dig the web looking for scripts fixing issue with COMM port" or "have to use terminal every time". Nobody using a Mac EVER has issues with COMM ports, and most Mac users have NEVER even opened a terminal window and aren't likey to -ever! And as for saving time, Macs are ALWAYS more productive than Windows, ALWAYS have been.

Mac Towers are just as extensible as PCs.
