Actually, here are the terms for free use of MS products:

Students:

A student shall be defined as one who is enrolled in for-credit clbutt(es) or carrying credit bearing hour(s). This may be established in one of 3 ways: by identifying that the student is currently enrolled via a valid student Identification Card by verifying that the student is enrolled in credit-bearing clbutt(es) through review of the Registrar public access screens in the Registrar IUIS system or a student is validated by Continuing Studies as being enrolled in for-credit course(s)

Faculty:

Per Microsoft's requirement, you may use the products on personally-owned computers at home as long as there is a copy on a university-owned computer at work that is available for your use. Faculty emeriti who meet these criteria are eligible.
