LOL! I realize you would argue that 2.5" x 6" pre-printed paper strips bearing the images of dead men have an equal or greater intrinsic value than does gold, of for no other reason than to challenge me;) But it truly surprises me to see Znu making such a claim. Things off the top of my head that can be done with the pre-printed paper strips:
1 - building a fire (but is it better than wood?) 2 - making a paper mache figure (should work well enough) 3 - stuffing a pillowcase, mattress etc. (better than down?) 4 - wallpapering a room (how would that look?) 5 - lining a birdcage, trashcan etc.(works OK but bigger paper is better) 6 - in a stack as a spacer for uneven table leg (matchbook works, too) 7 - wiping your butt in an emergency (questionable how effective it'd be) 8 - making confetti (should work just fine) 9 - making a paper lamp shade (wouldn't be my first choice) 10 - ???
