Tom, have you ever SEEN an iMac, much less an Intel iMac before? While Apple won't void my warranty if I replace the parts myself, they WILL if any damage is done to the iMac while doing this. I certainly will NEVER try to replace ANYTHING but memory and external devices in my iMac.
I make no claims to being an Apple-certified repair person, and don't plan on it any time soon.
PCs, now, are a different story. They are EASY to upgrade by the average person. Which is one reason so many of them are sold.

Yeh, right. Unlike you, I HAVE read my warranty, and also read what APPLE has to say about it on their website.

Mr. Gates has NOT "left Microsoft". He STILL is the Chairman of the Board. He STILL owns the majority of stock in Microsoft Corporation.
Mr. Gates "left Microsoft" for ONE reason: To pursue his and Melinda's interest in philanthropy.
I really advise you to read the News once in a while, rather than keeping your nose stuck in your MacBook.
