Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 502
I wonder why. Could it be the Old Guard Mac fanatics? Anyway, as I said, I do appreciate the back end of OS X, but most definitely NOT the GUI. It may be acceptable to you, but it certainly isn't acceptable to me. After all, doesn't Mr. Jobs tell us to "think different"? Semantics, semantics. The fact is, I used it exclusively for at least a year, until Boot Camp was released. If a year isn't enough time to make a fair buttessment of an OS, then I don't know what will do. ShapeShifter is a poor excuse of a "theme" changer, I am afraid. Compare it with either Stardock's WindowBlinds or TGTSoft's StyleXP. It is closer to StyleXP than WindowBlinds (which is a TRUE themeing engine). Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 504 That is MY choice, not YOURS, stud. Don't you think I dislike the OS X Desktop because *I* think it's a piece of crap? I don't give a damn what YOU think... But it's not the only thing I dislike about OS X. I dislike EVERYTHING about the OS X GUI. I dislike not being able to resize a window from ANY side, for example. I dislike the way most OS X app windows refuse to truly maximize. I dislike not being able to make the MenuBar any larger. I dislike the staticness of the Dock (although I do like the IDEA of the Dock. But it is poorly implemented). Perhaps your local hospital's color scheme was designed by the designers of OS X's color scheme. == Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 503 On Sun, 30 Jul 2006 21:26:11 -0700, Donald McDaniel I think it's mostly Steve Jobs.
