chose to bless us with the following wisdom: Mainly because Apple went 100% Wintel HW...

I didn't say that--I said that you set yourself up for disappointment if you tried to make a Mac work in the same manner as Windows (in different words, of course, but I figured you needed it clarified).

Why? The only thing you've said is that the themes have common threads. What makes you think the same isn't true for Stardock's products?

I've seen a fairly wide variety of themes. I mean, Unsanity's own ShapeShifter site references several web sites, each of which carrying a wide variety of themes.

No, the idea of resizing from any window edge is a stupid one. I said nothing about your intelligence in general (that is a leap that many people erroneously make--criticism of someones ideas != criticism of the person who suggested it).

No, that was completely uncalled for.

That's correct. When you want to make it as large as you want, you grab the window corner and resize it yourself. How is maximizing less of an arbitrary size decision than the zoom function anyway? It just 'decides' that you want the window full screen.

My current one doesn't even HAVE a connection for a Parallel cable. What good would a Parallel...

Get what? That you're insane?

Oh, and *that* was a personal attack. Just to help reduce your confusion.

The targets are already infinitely large along the y-axis ('vertically').

But I don't. Use the language you feel is appropriate, and stop telling others what words they should use. "Think Different", for once.

Apple *doesn't* put it in the corner, by default. That's why many people consider the Dock to be difficult to use. The icons are in different places depending on how many applications are open.

Then why on earth aren't you using GNU-Linux? Windows is just as bad about telling you what you're using (and how you're going to use it) as Apple is.

Apparently not, if you think Windows handles this any better than OS X does. The Windows desktop is just as proscribed as OS X's is.

I don't even *like* OS X. Why would you throw me in with the 'mac idiots'? I'm constantly criticizing Apple's pathetic design decisions. I'm just pointing out the flaws in your argument.

So why are you using anything but GNU-Linux? Windows and OS X both tell you what you're going to do and how you'll go about doing it.
