He actually thinks he is to the right of me socially and economically, as well as politically.

But I am neither to the Left or the Right. I advocate some issues to the Left of the political and social spectrum, and some issues to the Right of the political and social spectrum.

I am not even registered with any particular party, nor have I even voted since I voted for Jimmy Carter (and found him to be a good and decent man, but a terrible president). Some would find fault with that. Well, that's certainly their right, and I certainly wouldn't try to stop them. But they are not my (or anyone's) Judge.

I am, in fact, more of a Libertarian than either a Left-winger or Right-Winger. In fact, it is my intention to vote a strictly "Libertarian" party ticket in the coming National Elections. Let's face it, neither of the current parties have done much good for the American people (or the world) in the last 50 years. It's time for a drastic change. I suggest that others who are unhappy with our present political climate also vote a strictly Libertarian ticket. It's time for the Government to get OUT of our private lives. Both current parties have been messing around in there for the last 50 years. I, and many others, have had enough of it.

But ultimately, I am a traditional Christian, and seek the liberation of all men from such idiocy, in all aspects of their lives.

As Jesus tells us, "My Kingdom is not of this World".

This world-view underlies all I say and do. Some would think I am either a Left-Winger, or a Right-Winger. I am neither. I am a committed follower of the Historical Christ (not their atheist Christ, or New Age Christ, or Anti-Christ).

If this sometimes gives the impression that I am either a Leftist or Right-Winger, then so be it. People are enbreastled to their beliefs. I would do nothing to keep them from holding on to them. But we hold on to our beliefs at the peril of our souls. And as a Christian, it is my duty, along with the rest of my brothers and sisters in Christ, to warn them of the consequences of their actions and beliefs, whether they like it or not.

In other words, I "think differently", as Mr. Jobs admonishes us to do. Evidently, to the Mac Fanatics in this newsgroup, this does not extend to running XP or Vista on an Intel Mac. Where is the "difference" in that? Sounds to me like all these Mac sycophants are in lockstep with each other, rather than "thinking differently", as Mr. Jobs suggests.

So to Hell with them all. I will "think different", and run XP (and soon, hopefully, Vista) on MY Intel iMac. What they do with theirs is their business.
