Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 532Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 533 Henry, I really don't appreciate being spoken of in the third person, as almost anyone would not appreciate. But, you know...
Actually, while I haven't had Windows since 3.1, I was able to fool around with Windows as MS developed the application. I have a friend who acquired a PC, after I switched to the Mac. I told him how great the Mac was but he was seduced by the cheap price. From that time on, every time I would visit him, all he did was complain about what a POS Windows. We went from 3.1 to 95 to 98. Each time I would hear the complaints and I would answer, "Well it's 85% like the Mac. They'll improve it soon." Finally, my friend stopped beating himself up, when he decided not to get ME, but took my old Mac. I mentioned to him that it wasn't the latest version of the Mac operating system (OS 8.6, I think), but out of exasperation with Windows he tried the Mac. He has never looked back. But anyway, all this is a deviation from my original question, which is why would Donald McDaniel get a mac, of any sort, if he "can't STAND that poo-hole of an OS called OS X". Your comments don't give me the answer.
