Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 560
Snit Yet it is the way you defined a Mac for years. The only difference...

Na....when you die, they're going to bury you with your butt sticking out, for two reasons. First, so eyervone can be remided what you made of yourself and second, so there will be and extra bicycle rack.

I stated the answer...IBM HAD CONTROL but subsequently failed to *protect* it's design of the PC and other related things. Now, I realize that's a complex concept for you to understand with your burger-flipper education, but do try.

Duhhhh. I said it was done without IBM's blessing. Now you should understand what that means. Ok...

Before your feathers bristle, consider that one of my business buttociates brother worked for IBM and on that project and I remember quite well what he and I talked about when I first met him in the mid 1980's.

What's that got to do with anything? Any company can write whatever license it wants but the fact remains the licenses written back then to the cloners actually cost more to Apple than the revenue generated.

It was rumored at the time Motorola's license was terminated that Apple offered them a new license which was on terms more favorable to Apple and MOT declined. Were those licenses offered to others? nothing was said at the time.

My information came from Don Crabb who wrote the MacManager column in MacWeek. Don and I were buddies and talked often and even more so when digital imaging hit since it's what I do. Some how, I just consider Don a more than reputable source.

It shows what market segment PC was after and is consistent with the information Don gave me.

How am I "making up" the well-known fact that the Mac clone licenses began and were awarded and written *before* SJ came back to Apple in 1997. That's something no one can change, but I'm sure you'll try.

Here's a test: Go prove cloning started after SJ came back to Apple.

no, not YOUR reasons.

nope...your sky is falling, but no one else's is.
