Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 565Why Microsoft Should Fear Intel Macs" 566 Dave Fritzinger I made claim to *a* reason, not to *the* reason. That's probably way too complex for you to grasp... Failed? Why do I have obligations you don't place on your posts...
Sorry, but the two situations are in no way comparable. Nope. It's based on an understanding of intellectual property and contract law. Whether it would have been better for consumers is beside the point. Was Apple within its rights as the owner of the technology involved? Yes, they were. They don't have to do what is best for consumers. I don't "care" about Apple at all other than that I want them to keep producing the computer I prefer. And you're quite wrong, if Microsoft wants to cease selling Windows and start building their own PCs: more power to 'em. But Apple never did "the same thing". Apple tried a strategy for the benefit of Apple and then decided that the strategy wasn't working out *for Apple", so they discontinued it. They did so in a way that was in no way in conflict with the laws of the land.
