MS really copies Mac UI, nobody can discuss it even. I know it since I booted a Powerbook Duo 270C with OS 7.6.
I was using Intel-windows that time and always seen Mac people saying they copied the MacOS as some "zealots" or "whiners". When I booted into OS 7.6 and used it a bit, I was absolutely shocked that they were right.
I am speaking about real life facts like DirectX, .NET thing and even the Sun Java's Windows version. Speaking about end users, even MSN messenger not having Camera support becomes an issue. I know third party apps (at least one) can do it but it is third party and we speak about very regular users here.
It is generic home user market which makes MS the king. I am still amazed at response by die hard mac users for "Boot Camp" but it will be a bit troll to explain why.
