You haven't noticed him saying that he believes in an omnipotent God? How strange, of course he has never stated that the universe exists because his god wants it to, but since it is accepted by those that believe in God that he created the universe, it is sensible to buttume that he created it as he wanted it.

This is a complete fallacy. We know that the universe exists, what we don't know fully is the process by which it came to exist.

What we can do is look around us at the processes taking place now, and form theories as to how those processes could have been involved in the creation of the universe. To look around and pick a process that is not going on now, and try to use that to explain how the universe was formed is neither efficacious nor sane.

Certainly it is, however that is not the second theory that was being discussed. Nice try at building a strawman, but you'll have to try much harder than that.

Try asking yourself this: "Does anyone else really exist, or am I imagining them?". Then try to work out a way of proving your answer. Try it without resorting to "Because God says so".

Snip irrelevant argument.
