This may be true for heretical "christians" and other fundamentalist "christians", but it is not true for Orthodox Christians, nor is it encourged by St. Paul. He tells us that "each man must be "fully persuaded" in his own mind before he acts on something. This includes inculcating spiritual teachings into his over all life.

Sir, the concept of "unlimited free will" is certainly not a Christian doctrine. Even the Father does not have "unlimited free choice", since He must ALWAYS speak the Truth and do righteousness. I only used the term "free will" for your sakes. Christianity does not teach such a concept, since all so-called "free choices" men are able to make always have conditions attached. That is, God gives men the ability to make choices, but not always the RIGHT to make those choices (see God's placement of the Man and Woman in the Garden, where He obviously gives the Man the "abilty" to choose between any tree in the Garden as food, but NOT the AUTHORITY to choose to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. In addition, He always demands that men pay the consequences of their choices.

The only contradiction comes when INFIDELS attempt to understand just what Christians MEAN when they say "free will". Not being able to understand spiritual matters, they attempt to interpret them in the power of their own limited human understandings, and because of this, they always wind up like you, with a mistaken understanding. This is pretty much true for ALL attempts of infidels to understand spiritual matters, no matter what those matters may be, or what variety of infidel they are.

By the way, only heretics among "christians" teach "absolute, unlimited, free will". Or they teach the opposite, that man has no "free will" of any kind. These are so-called "Calvinist" Protestants. Both concepts are certainly unscriptural and not taught by authentic Christians.
