Now we find out that you didn't even bother to read the article and were just coming from somewhere in left field with some irrelevant nonesense.
By The way, Creative specs the S-N of the Nano-Nano plus at "up to 90dB" and PC World measured it at -81dB. That's how much Creative's manufacturer specs can be trusted. It's just not possible for an MP3 player to be that quiet. I doubt if you could get the thermal noise alone down to that figure without cryogenically cooling the player with liquid nitrogen!
