We went through this months ago. There are a couple of wireless mice that don't follow the usual USB protocols and therefore need a driver from the manufacturer even to work on Windows. A note on their web-site says it all: "CD-ROM drive required for installation." Also It says that the mouse is Windows only. There are MANY similar products made by much better known makers other than LabTECH, such as Logitech and Kennsington as well as Microsoft and IoGear to name a few, which work perfectly on any Mac. But what we have here is zara-zero the liar. He-she-it searches the internet looking for things that don't support the Mac and then comes here and tells us that his inlaws "innocently" buy these often arcane and non-mainstream products and try to use them with some non-existent Macintosh (the model number and vintage of which keeps changing) but to no avail. the zara uses this as "ammunition" to try to show that Macs are so non-standard that one has to buy special hardware to use with them. The truth, of course, is just the opposite. He has to search for special hardware that DOESN'T support the Mac such as this LabTech mouse from a company who makes FOUR mouse models which most places don't even carry. Pay him no mind.
