stupid windows! 1772
It probably does. What does that have to do with it? It didn't come with any instructions saying that it was going to steal focus and allow the system to be rebooted with one keypress. Besides that, some windows software says it may need a re-boot and then it doesn't. Some doesn't say it does and then does anyway. And why the heck do you need to reboot windows so much anyway? :-) Slade, you're trying to shift the blame. The real problem here is MS's practice of encouraging software to steal focus - even when it involves possible disastrous results. I guess I'm just used to OSes where you don't have to reboot them everytime you install some software, and where you don't have to close all other apps before installing software. Hmmm... do I have to kill off everything before installing software? All those things running in the background too? Or is it just some apps? How do you know what's what? Where in the docs is this spelled-out? stupid windows! 1773 No it doesn't. If my computer has an error, I want the information. I can see how it may be overwhelming for a person who's used...
