Unless you've got racks full of heavy, industrial strength, high-current devices, there's no reason on this f***ing planet to go 220v if you're in a backward nation that only normally uses 110v. It is not a simple matter of "just pulling a few cables". The cable rating for 220v can be expected to be completely different to that for 110v for starters. And that buttumes you have a 220v feed available. And even that buttumes your existing 220v feed has the extra capacity for additional load, etc. etc. etc.
Instead of you fart-arsing about trying to work out if the f***wit's brain-dead suggestion is valid or not, or has merit or not, or has benefits or not, make him f***ing well justify it and argue his case for his own stupidity. f*** me dead. Whatever happened to brains, for f***'s sakes?
