EXACTLY.

Changing the "look" is not innovation. NOTHING new from Japan regardless of what the dimwits in the media or advertising say. EVERY new innovation is developed here or developed in their factories BY AMERICANS or GERMANS and occasionally ENGLISH.

You nor any one else can identify a single innovation by Japan. They not only have not come up with anything new, they can't even come up with new manufacturing methods (techniques) on their own.

Changing the "look" is not innovation. Manufacturing with very little federal tax is not innovation. WE paid the tax. They used their fed money to pay shipping cost. Manufacturing with little environmental or human controls is not innovation. Our education system is a disaster. Theirs seem to do everything EXCEPT change culture where the scientists can think outside the box. Japanese who come here young and keep the Japanese family culture and learn in the American system are just as innovative, if not more than "native" Americans. NOTE "native American" does NOT mean "Indians" or aboriginal Americans. "Native" American is ANYONE born here.

Korea, Taiwan and especially China will water Japan. AGAIN it will be by low cost manufacturing and marginal quality. There is a tremendous HATE growing in Japan against those areas.

Don't feed back the crap about Japanese car quality. A person has to be pretty stupid not to see the difference of 100,000 to 200,000 mile cars. But, those same stupid people yak about Japanese quality. Detroit has had to follow suit with quirky engineering (PURPOSELY) and quirky looks.

Don't bother responding unless you have FIRST HAND experience in setting up Japanese factories and manufacturing facilities.

I'm not complaining. I made plenty of money.
