Ask if your service provider would apply a Spam blocker for free for your email service. Most of them do this service now, and it is included in your subscription. The best thing I found was to get a Hotmail or Yahoo account, and use that for your public emails. You can also make your address a bit munged, such as setting up your email account to give a return address such as Just mention in your signature to remove the NOSPAM from your email address when returning, so that the newbies will realize this. I use a Hotmail account. In some areas I use a Yahoo account. The basic ones are free. There are many of these to choose from. It is a matter of preference. Some service providers also allow for alias addresses. The provider that I am with allows up to 10 of them. This is a user changeable address that you can put on a forwarding.
