Can not get in Hotmail

Hotmail, and many services use cookies to be able to operate. The Privacy set-up in IE is set high to allow them to read back what they need to know in order to operate properly. This is set very high by default, when XP is installed.
Open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, and then go to the Privacy tab. Move the lever down to allow the lower level of cookies. I myself leave it very high, and then adjust it as necessary when required.
Also, if the Internet Security level is set too high, there will be some browsing and login problems with some types of sites.

When I try to get in Hotmail after I type in the my E-mail address and pbuttword I get a message " Your Web browser options are currently set to disable cookies. To use .NET Pbuttport, you must enable cookies." I did not change anything in my browser, why do I get this message and why I can not get in to the Hotmail I never had this problem, how can I solve this. Thanks My OS is WindowsXP Pro
