My Home Page is crazy. 26I had some sort of problem like that, where spyware-adware went wrong and screwed up my whole internet connection. These things change and even corrupt the registry. Try another browser. Maybe it's just IE that is fouled up. As people have said, try Mozilla Fire Fox. A few years ago I hated mozilla, but now it has got really good. You may want to try Opera too. LASER PRINTER With a 15% density print which is the average of a page that is filled of text, the HP printer that I have (LaserJet 1100), should give about 2500 pages on a full toner... Regarding fixing IE or the internet connection that has been messed up by spyware, go into IE and see what your homepage has been changed to, that will give you something to google on since specific spyware cna have a specific solution. The solution that worked great for me and has for others, is to push the registry back. Win9X uses scanreg. Win XP uses system restore. You can only go back 3 weeks though, so if you've had this problem for longer than that then you can't use that method. I found an unorthodox solution, - running Win 9X, -was to delete the registry files, then reinstall windows. (If you do not delete the registry files then the registry remains screwed). So maybe deleting the registry files in XP and doing a repair from the CD. Best Spam Blocker Ask if your service provider would apply a Spam blocker for free for your email service. Most of them do this... The only solution I recommend is the one that I did that is orthodox. Which is to push the registry back. The only other solution that I did - the unorthodox one, was whilst running win 9x deleting the reg files and reinstalling - that worked for me. My Home Page is crazy. 28 I thanks you very much for your availibility: Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.2 Scan saved at 13.18.05, on 14-12-2004 Platform: Windows XP... Of course you know the 'risk' of pushing the registry back, is some programs have stored settings in there and they may get confused and need to be reinstalled or reconfigured. Even if it does happen, it's no big deal (not from my experience anyway)
