Bloody 'ell! you have really started the memories going here! Getting a loan of my brother-in-law's Microbee all those years ago, typing out lines and lines of Basic programs only to have them fail at the third line at three o'clock in the morning! Getting an old ST225 Seagate 20 MEG drive working in an Amstrad 1512, AND loading ALL of my software onto the drive, and STILL having 12 meg left over!! I wont even mention the old Tandy TRS80model two that Dad had. Hhe sold it to a bloke who needed another one after his model one's moniter died. He was running his business off it and knew how run all the software and did not see why he should pay thousands to go to Win 95, and relearn the whole game again. He was happy with the fifty bucks he paid for it, and Dad was happy to get fifty for a "worthless" old computer. I don't know about the "Joy" of old computers but it is fun to crash around on the command line again, and it is fun to repair little problems with the operating system and Windows. Don't we just love those steam driven computers! O.k. that's all I have to say about that! I must go and play with the toys now. Bye for now.
