Yes it is strange I know! :)
She teaches basic Office stuff. ECDL, Advanced ECDL, Clait, all that kind of stuff. I think she just recently got her Microsoft Office Professional certificate.
When it comes to other things though like Hardware and non-Office applications she isn't too clued up and usually asks for my help.

I've built two of my own systems and kept them maintained over the last 7 years or so, and I do all the configuring of the Home Network etc. I have learned a lot especially from this group, I can deal with hardware and software, and I know the basics of things like PHP and web design, but I am no expert or anything, especially compared with a lot of the people in here, and I do not work in the IT industry myself as a teacher or techie. In fact I have the total sum of Zero qualifications in IT. When it comes to Office applications my Mother could probably teach me a thing or two, but anything else it is usually the other way around.
