Video card recommendations USB capture help pleaseMy Home Page is crazy. 26 I had some sort of problem like that, where spyware-adware went wrong and screwed up my whole internet connection. These things change and even corrupt the registry. Try another... me I would recommend any video card other than an ATI. I had a 9800XT that ended up in a spares-box built server because, quite frankly, ATI cards are poo. I will never buy another one again. I have another box that has an nVidia FX 5200 in it. They're not very expensive and the FX 5200 has very good video capture capabilities. Of course, in my main workstation I have an nVidia GF 6800 Ultra-SSE2 and the capture quality is beyond superlatives. The question for you is, do you want to spend more money on a video card than your entire computer is probably worth? As for the PAL-NTSC issue, you should really capture in raw AVI format then convert to PAL. The difference between PAL and NTSC is the framerate and scan rate. NTSC scans 100 lines a second lower than PAL, but has a slightly higher framerate to try and compensate for the resulting crap resolution. If you capture in AVI, your PAL output never needs to go via NTSC at all. Computer not booting up as normal Just lately, my computer, which is a winME, Celeron 333mhz, starts by giving me 4 options when i switch it on. 1. Normal 2. Bootlog.txt ???? 3. Safe Mode 4. Step by step ?? Can... The point being, you're doing something wrong rather than your video card not being suitable. Maybe you only need better software. -- Registered Linux User: #344402 Akhenaten: Registered Linux Machine: #235500 2.6.8.1-12-i686-smp Dual i686 Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz GNU-Linux
