It has been three years since the topic of the Dvorak keyboard has been brought up in this group, so this idea is out of place. Just wanted to give...

In the event viewer, you can view the different logs for your system.

You can also use Dr. Watson, to make a log of many of the details going on in the system, that produce faults.

Open the Help system for Windows, and type in the search box, Watson to have help with troubleshooting. Also, searching for Event Viewer will turn up a lot of information about it.

Hello.

trying to build a portable computer
Hi - I was wondering if anyone's built a very small computer, I'm looking to make one that's very small that I can take on the plane...

In Windows XP Pro, if you have a blue screen crash, how can I view the cause of the crash when I reboot he system? Is there somewhere this info is stored? The blue screen is visible for only 1 or 2 seconds before the restart, so it is not long enough to print or save the screen. I have a feeling it is the Sound Blaster software-hardware I just put in. Same thing happened on the 98 system I had a few years back. Worked perfect until the Creative audio stuff. After that blue screens galore! Probably serves me right for not buying a different sound card.

Thanks

John
