computer graphics in the '70's
I first used computers in 1979 when I was in grade two. The school had a couple of Apple II+ computers, and so did a cousin of mine! Castle Wolfenstein and Rescue at Rigel were favorites in those days, and we even thought games like Lemonade were very cool! For whatever reason, I'm also able to recall when I saw the Atari 2600 for the first time. I believe it was in 1977 and it cost $479 Canadian at that point in time. I eventually owned one in 1981 when they dropped to $100. Those were the days. The day I got my Atari 2600, I hooked it up to my 12" RCA black & white TV (which I still have today!) and I was playing Chopper Command and Empire Strikes back like crazy. I remember the tingling sensation that I got in the back of my neck after an extended gaming session, but the experience and memories are priceless to me today. rundll error Weatherbug isn't as innocent as they would like people to think. I've always considered it "adware... repost My post didn't format properly. Repost. Check the TAC, (treat buttessment chart at Adaware for weatherbug. There is no entry... Weatherbug... It's funny because even though I enjoyed games on computers and on consoles, I always thought that pinball should remain an integral part of arcades. Sadly, as the years went by through the 1980s, the number of pinball machines diminished. I do take comfort in the fact that I did loyally support pinball while video games started to take over. Today, when I see an arcade at all, there are usually between zero and two pinball machines present. My first computer was an Atari 600XL with 16K RAM, which I got in 1984. Later, I got a 1010 cbuttette drive and 1050 disk drive (127K capacity). I have good memories of that too.
